British No. 4 Mk. II spike bayonet, often referred to as a "pig-sticker".
It was the standard issue bayonet for the British Commonwealth forces during and after World War II.
It was designed to be fitted to the Lee-Enfield No. 4 rifle and STEN submachine gun.
The design was simplified during the war to a round-bodied spike with a screwdriver-like point to make it faster and cheaper to produce.
The bayonet is in excellent condition, retaining much of its original finish.
