Large vintage print of Leo Jansen’s “Hugging,” depicting an embracing couple in Jansen’s expressive sketch style, housed in the original wood frame with gold trim. Leo Jansen (1930–1980) was a Dutch-American artist best known for his work as Playboy Magazine’s commissioned painter for 18 years, creating portraits of Playmates and celebrity nudes that graced the homes of collectors from Hugh Hefner to Judy Garland.

All purchases must be paid for on auction day unless doing an absentee bid. There is a 18 percent buyers premium added to all successful bids.

Sales tax will be collected unless a valid Provincial Sales Tax number is on file with us.
Once the auctioneer indicates an item is sold to a bidder (by identification of the bidder number); a verbal contract is consummated and liability for the item(s), including responsibility for payment rests with the bidder.
Merchandise must be removed from auction premises within 1 business days following the sale to avoid a storage charge of 10% per lot, per day. Shipping and/or freight can be arranged at purchaser’s expense.
