Beautiful 1977 ceramic bust almost identical by the iconic Marwal Polynesian/Hawaiian woman design, featuring a large hibiscus flower in her hair. Hand-painted with warm, natural tones and smooth fired finish. Likely a ceramic version of the classic mid-century chalkware busts, made from a studio mold popular in the 1970s. Excellent vintage condition with minor age-appropriate wear.

All purchases must be paid for on auction day unless doing an absentee bid. There is a 18 percent buyers premium added to all successful bids.

Sales tax will be collected unless a valid Provincial Sales Tax number is on file with us.
Once the auctioneer indicates an item is sold to a bidder (by identification of the bidder number); a verbal contract is consummated and liability for the item(s), including responsibility for payment rests with the bidder.
Merchandise must be removed from auction premises within 1 business days following the sale to avoid a storage charge of 10% per lot, per day. Shipping and/or freight can be arranged at purchaser’s expense.
