Payment Terms

- Amounts over $500 will need to be paid via e-transfer, wire payment, or cash
- Cash purchases will receive a 1% discount on their buyer's premium adjusting it to 14%.
- E-transfer email address will be shared after the auction is over with the invoice to the bidders
- 15% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the subtotal of the winning bid amount, plus, 5% GST and 7% PST in BC.
For example: Winning Bid $100.00 + 15% Buyers premium = $115.00 + 5% GST ($5.75) + 7% PST ($8.05) = Total purchase price $128.80

ITEMS NOT PICKED UP BY THE DEADLINE WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF OZZIE AUCTIONS OR THE CONSIGNOR WITH OR WITHOUT NOTIFYING BIDDER/BUYER. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THE PICK UP DEADLINE.

Ownership & Non-Payment Consequences
- Ownership remains with Ozzie Auctions or consignor(s) until full payment is received.
- If payment is not made within the required timeframe, the auctioneer may resell the item by any means necessary, without prior notice. Any shortfall and costs incurred will be the responsibility of the original purchaser.
Item Removal & Storage
- ITEMS NOT PICKED UP BY THE DEADLINE WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF OZZIE AUCTIONS OR THE CONSIGNOR WITH OR WITHOUT NOTIFYING BIDDER/BUYER. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ISSUED AFTER THE DEADLINE.
- Bidders may be required to book an appointment for pickup.
- Bidders must present their credit card on file and a piece of picture ID during the pickup/removal of their items.
- Buyers must remove items within the specified timeframe.
- All removal costs and risks are the buyer’s responsibility; proof of adequate insurance may be required.
- Buyers indemnify Ozzie Auctions and the seller against damages caused during removal.
- Failure to remove items on time may result in storage, relocation, disposal fees, or resale. The original buyer remains liable for any losses.
- Buyers are responsible for arranging their own shipping, and assistance will be provided to couriers when necessary.
- Buyers are responsible for the removal of all items, bringing any supplies, tools, or equipment required for removal.
- Buyers must arrange pickup and transport within the specified timeframe.
- Ozzie Auctions does not provide labor, delivery, or transport services.
Security Interest (PPSA)
- By bidding, the buyer grants Ozzie Auctions a security interest in all current and future personal property to secure unpaid amounts.
- Ozzie Auctions may register a lien under the Personal Property Security Act of BC (PPSA), even if the lot is not yet collected.
- If full payment is not made, we may take legal action, send customer invoice to collections, repossession, or resale under the PPSA.
Non-Delivery & Refund Policy
- If Ozzie Auctions cannot deliver an item, our only liability is a refund of any payment received.
